The Mk VI was produced from 1946-1952 with chassis continuing to be supplied to independent coachbuilders, this Mk VI has been bodied by Chiswick specialist Mulliner.
A front-engine and rear wheel drive layout, the four-speed manual synchromesh transmission was supported by independent suspension up front, with a live axle and semi-elliptic leaf springs out back, powered by a 6 cylinder 4,257cc engine. Hydraulic brakes are on the front and mechanical actuation on the rear drums.
This Bentley Mk VI interior is in good condition, with sliding sunroof and tan interior accomplished by walnut veneers with leather seats.
This Mk VI deserves a loving home, a motorist who will take pride and joy in giving this 69-year-old car some refreshment. The Bentley requires new coachwork but is in good mechanical condition.
